Who am I ?
Born in Ethiopia in 2003, I was adopted following the national crisis that affected my country. Growing up in France, I developed a deep connection to art and storytelling from an early age.
As a child, I was constantly writing stories in my notebooks, filming my family with my father's camera, and my favorite game was to rewrite the episodes of my favorite shows, replacing the characters with people from my own life.
What started as a desire to document reality quickly evolved into a passion for creating it. Through scripts, images, and videos, I began building my own world.
Living between two cultures shaped the way I see people and stories. For 5 years, I traveled the world, broke, but with a goal, looking for answers and inspirations on the road. Every country I visited, every culture I immersed myself in, and every person I met contributed to the artistic identity I carry today.
Today, my creative vision is the result of all these journeys and encounters. I am eager to bring that energy, adaptability, and passion for storytelling to a production team.
My experience in video making
Over the past five years, I have built a distinct visual identity through a series of self-produced short films. Here are three short films and a documentary trailer I wrote, directed, and performed myself, accompanied by a short description of what they helped me improve on.
Post-production
I turn raw images into real storytelling, using advanced editing methods to catch my viewers' attention and make them feel real emotions.
Artistic direction
I bring my vision to life with meticulous artistic direction, ensuring a consistent and impactful aesthetic for every project.
Self-made
From writing to directing, including makeup, hairstyling, and performance, being involved in all aspects has made me very versatile.
Storytelling
I develop solid and engaging narrative concepts to ensure that each video tells a memorable and meaningful story.
My professional experience
With a Bachelor's degree in International Journalism, my experience spans media, politics, audiovisual production and post-production. From managing communication for a European political campaign to assisting production in a Paris-based production company and working as both a journalist and channel editor for a leading French production company, I have developed strong organizational, editorial, and coordination skills. Today, I am looking to bring this versatility and passion for storytelling to the world of movie production.
